2FA (Two-factor authentication) can generate a one-time and time-effective password through a third-party application (such as Google Authenticator/ Microsoft Authenticator) to give your account an extra layer of security. Both iOS or Android smartphone users can download this application to open the two-factor authentication device. Whether you log in Turing Certs Platform with your account or mobile phone, the platform will ask you to enter the one-time password generated by the Authenticator APP. After you enter it correctly, you can log in to the platform safely.

Step 1:Install authenticator application

  • Download "Google Authenticator" or"Microsoft Authenticator" on App Store and Google Play. Please download one of them or other authenticator application.

  • Microsoft Authenticator:/

  • Google Authenticator:/

Step 2:Sign in the authenticator and activate the account

Step 3:Turn on 2FA verification setting on the platform

  1. Enter "Proflie" and click 2FA "Link"

  2. After scanning QR code via authenticator, your device will show the account with 6-digit numbers.

  3. Click "Next Step" and enter the 6-digit numbers showed on phase 2.

  4. Download the document of secret key.

  5. Click "Next Step" to accomplish 2FA verification

【Notes】 The 6-digit number will change every 30 seconds and can be used only one time. After turning on the Two-Factor Authentication , you need to enter 6-digit numbers whenever you want to enter Turing Certs platform to protect your account security.
